What is your favourite home-cooked food?

This is the leading question for "This is What We Eat at Home", a participatory photo story project where children are invited to document a favourite home-cooked dish prepared by their caregivers. By capturing meal preparations and sharing candid memories of meals at home, the children highlight the diverse ethnicities and caregiving experience that make each of them unique individuals. 

The project originated from Tak Takut Kids Club (TTKC), a community children centre that aims to build a happy and safe environment in the neighbourhood for children to connect and thrive. Three iterations of the project have been presented at Singapore HeritageFest (2021), Esplanade March On Children's Festival (2022) and National Museum of Singapore Children's Season (2023).
